iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max replaced the notch with Dynamic Island, a cutout that expands to show alerts and activities. They added an always-on display, a 48MP main camera, the A16 Bionic, Crash Detection and Emergency SOS via satellite.
iPhone 14 kept the 6.1-inch size and a new 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus replaced the mini. Both added an improved main camera, Crash Detection and Emergency SOS via satellite, using the A15 Bionic.
The second-generation AirPods Pro used the new H2 chip for stronger noise cancellation and Adaptive Transparency, added touch volume control on the stem, and a case with a speaker for Precision Finding. Battery reached six hours of listening.
Apple Watch Ultra was a rugged 49mm titanium watch for outdoor sports and diving, with a customizable Action button, dual-frequency GPS, an 86-decibel siren and up to 36 hours of battery life. It cost $799.
Apple Watch Series 8 added temperature sensing for retrospective ovulation estimates and Crash Detection, and a Low Power Mode to stretch battery life.
The second-generation Apple Watch SE kept the essentials at a lower $249 price, with a faster chip, Crash Detection and a back that matches the case color.
